Tracy Chapman - Fast Car

Piesa asta pur si simplu, prin atitudine, prin felul in care e cantata, chiar iti atinge sufletul.. poate vazand asta voi cei ce cititi... zambiti si spuneti.. "cat de melodramatic".. insa chiar nu conteaza, e una din melodiile mele de suflet... si avand in vedere "gusturile" mele muzicale.. poate parea o surpriza. Ca gen nu stiu ce e, oricum suna acustic... imi plac la nebunie versurile, foarte destepte, iar finalul este crud, cititi-le si intelegeti ce inseamna ca o piesa sa spuna ceva, poate veti vedea de ce spun ca majoritatea pieselor ce le auzim la radio sunt absolut ridicole. Fast Car suna inaltator si inspirant la inceput.. piesa vorbeste despre cum tipa fuge cu iubitul ei, fuge de familie, de tatal alcoolist, sperand sa-si faca un rost in viata in alta parte,.. dar la sfarsit, cruda realitate o face sa ajunga in postura mamei ei, iubitul devenind si el alcoolic ca tatal din copilarie... sperante ruinate. Sa dau si cateva citate:
